A skate park (playground) of concrete monolithic structures has been built in Fabijoniškės, covering almost 2,500 square metres.
In the area of six sports grounds on Stanevičius Street, one playground has been reconstructed by removing the asphalt surface and a metal net fence. The redevelopment of the playground, which was built in 1989, has created a 921 square metre riding area with a riding area suitable for beginners and advanced riders.
The beginners' half-ramp consists of at least three half-ramps of different heights and two platforms of different levels connected to each other by wave-shaped ramps. The main ramps are 1,5 m high and interconnected, forming pyramids and elliptical shapes.
The advanced section is made up of V-shaped ramps, stairs and skating edges, so that jumps and skating tricks of varying difficulty can be performed without stopping and without losing speed.
There are additional pedestrian paths around the Riedučiai Park, the existing planting has been redesigned and the area has been landscaped in a modern way, with 18 new trees and 328 bushes planted. The adjacent children's playground has been renovated with a safe rubber surface, recreational benches and a refreshment station for drinking water.
